The three things all employees need according to Rich Jordan:
- Autonomy
People like feeling empowered to make decisions. Define their box or sphere of influence where they can make those decisions and give them free reign in int.
- Confidence
Do they have the confidence to complete the tasks assigned to them? Are they trained properly and have the right equipment? If they don't feel they have those, the job isn't getting done.
- Impact
Everyone wants to feel like their job means something. Connecting the jobs to big picture. Showing the influence it has on the company, customers, and other material advances gives employees buy in into the company.
