I'm reading The Attributes by Rich Diviney and one of the things he talks about is how adverse environments put our attributes on display.
The military provides lots of these opportunities. Chances to see what we lack. Chances to practice.
I won't equate combat to starting a business, but when you have mouths to feed, you're going to find out a lot about yourself.
